“I feel extremely proud and lucky to see Laguna Ave in the company of all these incredible films. I’ve picked eight of my favourite cinematic treats from the Arrow library, all of which have inspired me in some way and informed my tastes as a filmmaker. They range from the magical and dreamlike, to the sharp and satirical, to grungy celebrations of the DIY style that I love so much. These are all the kinds of things that I hope to achieve when making my own stuff. As for the last two on the list: I haven’t seen them yet but they look RIGHT up my street!”
