Just as Mike and Reggie thought they'd destroyed the Tall Man and escaped his evil clutches, he reappears, hell-bent on kidnapping Mike. Even the guardian spirit of Mike's dead brother Jody can't stop him from being taken! It's up to Reggie to try to track Mike's movements, and he's led towards the mysteriously vacant Holtsville, passing one desolated town after the next. He picks up a couple of similarly lonely travellers trying hard to survive, and with Jody's guidance, they must try to find and save Mike - but nothing is ever as it seems...
