On an isolated farm in the heart of the rolling British countryside David (Finch), a depressed film score composer, discovers that his wife Mary is having an affair with his own psychiatrist (McCulloch)! One dark and stormy night a seductive time-travelling witch from the 17th century (Quinn) possesses him and appears to give him the opportunity for some revenge, but when Mary realises that she loves David and wants him back the women are pitted against each other in a vicious battle for the embittered man’s heart and soul.
