Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) has his hands full in this jewel heist/murder mystery. Holmes has been hired to safeguard one of the Earth’s greatest treasures, The Star of Rhodesia 423 Karat diamond, by the son of the current owner, the eccentric Lady Margaret Carstairs. When her son is murdered in his train compartment and the diamond is stolen, Holmes has a trainfull of suspects, but his biggest problem is dealing with his bumbling companion, Dr. Watson.
