Stewart Sparke Selects
Stewart Sparke – director – Book of Monsters
“Arrow is a brand that has always held a special place in my heart and so it’s a real honour to see my own film among some of my all-time favourites! With so many amazing films to choose from, I selected those which had the biggest influence on my horror palette growing up, movies which still conjure memories of my childhood self, refusing to go to sleep for fear of Cenobites lurking under my bed. But whilst my list has some real chillers, you’ll mostly find scares mixed with a blood-soaked, darkly comedic edge, resulting in my ideal cocktail of genre films that I always come back to on movie nights. I’ve also picked a few modern favourites and some fantastic shorts that I think everyone should see!”
