The body of a man is discovered in his car in a river bed. The dead man is quickly identified as Nils Wendt, who’s been missing since 1987. Mette Olsäter, an old colleague of Stilton, is in charge of the case and quickly opens a murder investigation. Where has he been all these years and why has he decided to make his return now?
