The millionaire Wolfs the man behind the break-in at the Jonkhere bank now has Klaus send out envelopes containing incriminating material en masse to the 66 owners who are all members of Salamander and occupy leading positions in Belgian society. One by one they resign disappear or commit suicide. Strikes break out as a dark crisis threatens the state. Paul Gerardi takes his daughter to a boarding school where she meets the grand-daughter of the millionaire Wolfs who has been sent there as an unruly child.
